YOUNG footballers from across Zimbabwe will flood Rufaro on National Youth Day when the Jadel Football Academy tournament returns with life-changing chances on the line.
Twelve teams will battle in the eighth edition of the showcase.
Scouts from academies in China are expected in the stands, searching for players who could land scholarships and development deals.
For many of the youngsters, this is more than just another tournament.
It is a shot at catching the eye of visiting talent spotters and earning a route to the 100 Team Cup in Beijing set for July and August.
Jadel FA International founder Walter “Ringers” Musanhu said everything is set for the February 21 showcase, with teams confirmed from across the country.
“Everything is in place for the tournament at Rufaro Stadium.
“We have scouts coming from different academies in China who will be looking at players they can offer scholarships.
“This is also where we identify talented kids who we continue to develop before taking them to China for the 100 Team Cup.
“It’s the eighth edition and we are expecting a very competitive tournament.”
