Jah Prayzah has added a bonus track “Moyo Wakaoma” on his “Kumbumura Mhute” DVD album that will be released today. The track, which features actress and dancer Dalma Chiwereva, tackles baby-dumping.

In an interview Jah Prayzah manageress Filda Muchabaiwa said the musician decided to put a bonus track so that people can enjoy something new since the track was not on the audio album.

“The song touches many souls. Baby-dumping is becoming rampant in this country and this led him to come up with the song,” said Muchabaiwa.

She said people should look forward to interesting and educative themes on the DVD. “We took our time to produce the product, remember we were supposed to release it in September but we postponed to make sure we do not short-change our fans,” she added.

Other songs that will feature on the DVD are “Makanika”, “Dali Wangu”, “Soja Rinosvika Kure”, “Kumbumura Mhute” and his duet with Amara Brown “Kure Kure”.

Benjamin Nyandoro, director of Jive Zimbabwe, an organisation that has assisted the musician in marketing and distribution of his previous DVDs, hailed the Zimbabwe Defence Forces for providing facilities for the DVD shoot.

Nyandoro said their support was encouraging and they were looking forward to an overwhelming response.

“When you do your project with facilities and enough support you can produce a splendid thing and in this case the ZDF provided the facilities and we want to thank them,” he said.

He said for the distribution they were now working with a local Government ministry, who are their distribution partners. Jah Prayzah has previously released interesting videos with a number of them topping the chats.

He has done videos for his previous albums such as “Ngwarira Kuparara” and “Tsviriyo”.
