THIS year’s Manicaland Agricultural Show to be held from next Thursday is special in its own way.

While one of its main objectives is to provide corporates with an ideal opportunity to reach out to the public in Manicaland and beyond in an effort to promote brand visibility, the event promises to filled with entertainment.

It will be a mixture of Afro-contemporary and gospel music as Jah Prayzah and this year’s biggest gospel artiste, Dorcas Moyo, will be performing at this year’s edition.

No doubt the star attraction will be man-of-the-moment, Jah Prayzah, who is bubbling high with double albums, Chiremerera and Maita Baba, with the two packages being a blend of traditional and contemporary beats.

The star-studied Third General Band, which now includes percussionists and saxophonists, will for the first time bring the new albums to the spacious ground.

Although Jah Prayzah will perform on Saturday and Dorcas Moyo the following day, scores of people who are expected to throng the grounds are in for a special treat as the two heavyweights will share the same turf.

Moyo has upped her game in professionalising her brand on and off stage.

Her stage work has become epic and unique. One should not expect the same choreography whenever she performs.

She is currently riding high with new album, Mhanza Haisekwe, which features sungura virtuoso, Alick Macheso.

Moyo is ecstatic and glad to be one of the main performers.

“It can only be God who avails such opportunities. To be honest, we are humbled to be considered for the most prestigious event in Manicaland. It shows that we are doing something right and that has earned us such recognition. All glory goes to God.

“We are geared to give our best act on the day and we encourage the people of Manicaland and beyond to come and witness a revamped performance from us,” she said.
