JAH Prayzah yesterday left fans in ecstasy when he announced he will drop his 12th album in May.

The 35-year-old, who last released an album in 2021 titled “Gwara”, first shared the good news on his social media handles.

Although he had hinted on releasing a new album this year, many people have been waiting for dates.

In his post, he announced that the yet-to-be named album would be launched in Harare on May 12.

After the Harare leg, the multiple award winner is set to hold another launch in Bulawayo on May 13.

Contacted to shed more light on the album, his manager, Keen Mushapaidze, confirmed the double launch.

“The name is not going out at the moment.  It’s the 12th album.

“All is in place and it’s going to be our two biggest events ever in the two biggest cities of Zimbabwe,” he said.

Mushapaidze assured fans that Jah Prayzah was evolving with a number of surprises expected.

He, however, mentioned that Jah Prayzah will still maintain the touch   and beat which made him very popular.

“It’s the same Jah and the same footprint but still with lots of surprises which will be unveiled as we get closer to the day.”
