MANICA Diamonds have officially parted ways with coach Jairos Tapera after the two parties mutually agreed to terminate his contract.
Tapera, who was suspended last month due to poor results, had a contract running until December 2026.
Following the prolonged suspension, Tapera will now leave Manica Diamonds as the club searches for a new substantive coach.
The club’s caretaker coach is Tafadzwa Mashiri.
Manica Diamonds are currently sitting 15th in the relegation zone with 22 points from 21 games.
The Eastern Highlands side were in 10th place when Tapera was suspended after Matchday 17.
The team has managed to secure only two points since interim coach Mashiri took over a month ago.
