James Ingram, Johnny Gill to spend Valentine’s day with SA fans

James Ingram and R&B crooner Johnny Gill are headed to South Africa to perform in a one-night only concert taking place at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand on Valentine’s Day, 14 February 2015. It will be a night of romance as the two R&B crooners serenade their fans with hit songs that made them popular in the 90s.

Both artists have performed in the country before, leaving fans longing for more and now they have decided to heed those calls.“One cannot help but get excited to visit South Africa. It’s a beautiful country with a rich history and a vibrant energy that inspires me. I love the fans, they welcome you so openly. I can’t wait to perform there again,” Ingram said.

“My connection to South Africa runs deep, I love the vibrant energy of the country and the people. I’m honoured to have been invited to perform in South Africa again and I can’t wait to interact with my fans, it will be electrifying,” added Gill.

Afro-neo-soul musician has been chosen as the opening act for the night.
Tickets for the concert are available at Computicket and range between R500 and R1250 while VIP Hospitality Package will cost R3500. – Sowetan.
