GOSPEL musician Janet Manyowa (pictured) has released a sensational song titled “Shoko Renyu”.
The song, which is doing well on several media platforms, is drawn from the musician’s forthcoming album “Father’s House”.
This, according to the musician, is a worship album. It will be released “anytime soon”.
Manyowa said “Shoko Renyu” was inspired by a Bible scripture.
“The song is drawn from Psalm 119:105. This verse talks about the Word being a lamp for my feet and a light unto my path. This verse inspired me to come up with the song,” Manyowa said.
She also spoke about the feedback she is getting since the launch of the new song.
“The response has been amazing, to say the least. The feedback has been positive. We are excited.”
The multiple-award winner is hopeful that the song will change people’s lives.
“We are expecting the Word of God to impact people’s lives as they listen to the song. The message focuses on the Word of God, which is alive and powerful, and sharper than a two-edged sword.”
The 11-track album “Father’s House”, which has four bonus songs, was recorded live at the Wanqoba Concert in Bulawayo.
