CENTRAL defender, Patson Jaure is moving back to Dynamos, a team he left in 2014 to join University of Pretoria.

The 29-year-old defender will be unveiled as a Dynamos player as from Wednesday when his contract with Manica Diamonds expires on the day before. Jaure is joining the Glamour Boys on a one-year deal.

Moses Shumba, the Dynamos vice-chairman confirmed that they had signed Jaure on a 12-month contract with the possibility of his stay being extended beyond that period. Shumba is convinced that Jaure is back to his finest.

“We have signed Jaure, with effect from 1 January he will be a Dynamos player, Dynamos is his home so he is back at home. It’s a one-year deal but during the course of the year we need to extend his stay at Dynamos. We believe he is back at his best,’’ Shumba said.

Jaure, who captained the local-based Warriors to qualification for the 2020 African Nations Championship made his PSL debut with DeMbare in 2012. He rose to become the Dynamos skipper before he left midway into the 2014 season for University of South Africa.

When he returned home, Jaure joined Ngezi Platinum Stars in July 2016 before he left for a short spell with Buildcon of Zambia. At the start of this year, Jaure signed up for Manica Diamonds.
