JAYZ ONE FC targeting affiliation

A group of Harare auto mechanics joined forces to form a social football team called JAYZ ONE FC.

The team is owned by Pianos Jaravaza.

It’s not registered with any social league, but they have plans to affiliate next season.

Most of the players are based in Mbare and Rugare.

Jaravaza said the team has helped them improve their craft, as they use social games to share their work-related challenges.

“The team has helped us improve our social skills since we spend most of our time at work.

“We even get the chance to share ideas on how best we can overcome our problems at work since we are in a complex industry.

“We have all age groups in our team, but the team gives preference to youngsters, as we try to protect them from drug abuse,” said Jaravaza.
