PREMIER Soccer League chairman Farai Jere has said the top-flight league has lost one of its finest servants with the sudden death of Highlanders CEO Sihlangu Dlodlo.

The Bosso CEO, who was a very respected and popular figure within the PSL, was found dead at his home in Bulawayo.

He had been missing since the weekend.

Jere also extended his condolences to the Dynamos family following the death of club legend Ernest Kamba on Monday.

“We are heartbroken at the PSL because Dlodlo was a big part of our family and an influential member of the league,” said Jere.

“He was committed to see the league prosper and he was an honest man who always gave us the best advice in terms of the things we can improve.

“He was a great character and made you feel comfortable in his presence and would always try by all means necessary to ensure that he tells us what we can do to make a difference.

“He was destined to go very far as an administrator and was one of the guys you could see would make a difference in the league and ZIFA structures.

“We have lost a good man and a very good leader.”

The Premier Soccer League also sent their condolence message.

“The Premier Soccer League has learnt with deep sadness of the untimely passing of Highlanders FC CEO, Mr. Sihlangu Dlodio, a dedicated leader who served the football community with passion, commitment and integrity.
