Zimbabwe’s tourism sector has received a significant boost after English television personality Jeremy Clarkson hinted that the finale of his hit show, “The Grand Tour,” was filmed in Zimbabwe, remarking that they were “saving the best for last”.

In a recently released trailer, Clarkson and co-hosts James May and Richard Hammond can be seen driving across Zimbabwe in a thrilling adventure as they reflect on their 22-year television journey.

The Amazon Prime show, “The Grand Tour”, is set to air the finale on September 13.

This adds Clarkson to a distinguished list of international celebrities who have visited Zimbabwe. He follows in the footsteps of fashion mogul Tommy Hilfiger, who celebrated his birthday in the country in 2022.

Zimbabwe continues to solidify its reputation as a top travel destination, having hosted other global stars such as Paris Hilton, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Michael Douglas, Steve Harvey, Jack Ma, Maps Maponyane, and most recently, Miss Universe Queen Sheynnis Palacios.
