John Travolta arrested in Harare

THE Zimbabwe Republic Police has confirmed the arrest of John Travolta in connection with a robbery at Warren Park D Shopping Centre on Saturday evening.

The name might catch your attention, but this is not the Hollywood actor.

Police said Travolta (34) and an accomplice, who is still at large, allegedly entered a shop armed with a pistol and wearing balaclavas before threatening the shopkeeper and stealing US$3 813 and ZiG1 200.

Members of the public pursued the suspects and managed to apprehend Travolta.

Police recovered US$1 071 and ZiG775 from the suspect, while the accomplice remains at large.
