Journalist Gudhlanga dies

Veteran journalist Tawanda Gudhlanga has died.

Gudhlanga reportedly died of Covid-19 related complications.

Tawanda is well known for hosting a number of business programmes on ZBC-TV and Classic 263 radio including the Business Forum. At the time of his death, he was working as a station manager at YaFM in Zvishavane.

His close friend Nigel Nyamutumbu said he learnt with shock and sadness the death of Gudhlanga whom he described as hardworking and professional.

“We are really saddened with the death of our fellow journalist who was a professional, versatile and talented person who had a passion for transforming people’s lives and enhance his career as a journalist,” said Nyamutumbu.

In 2017, Tawanda won the NAMA awards for Outstanding Journalist in Radio.
