JAH Prayzah and Mathias Mhere have endorsed Sabastian Magacha’s album launch slated for the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC) tomorrow.
Named ‘‘I Am Favoured,’’ the album launch coincides with the singer’s 20-year anniversary as a professional artiste.
Fellow artistes – Dorcas Moyo, Madam Boss, Herman, Mudiwa Hood, Tinashe Magacha, and Zimpraise – are set to provide cover at the event.
Speaking through his manager Keen Mushapaidze, Jah Prayzah’s camp said they were honoured to be performing on the day.
“Jah is happy and honoured to be part of Saba’s big day.
“They are very good friends so he is happy to be supporting his friend on the day,” he said.
Asked what Jah Prayzah told Saba ahead of the launch, Keen said: “Onwards ever and backwards never. Never go back, keep moving forward and doing what you do best.
“It is very good what Saba has done for himself to date.
“It takes a very confident and courageous person to hire a space as big as the HICC and it shows how much he has grown music wise.”
Keen said Jah and Saba have been learning a lot from each other throughout their friendship.
“Jah and Saba continue teaching each other. Consistency and good work is another thing they have learnt from each other.
“Saba is someone who does not give up, he just continues to do his best,” Keen told H-Metro. Similar sentiments were echoed by Mhere, who praised Magacha for his achievements.
“Saba is a living legend and we can see this with where he iacs today. We can see that his performances have changed for the better now.
“He has grown musically and he is going to continue growing.
“Him and I are very good friends and I am promising to give it my all on the day of the launch,” he said.
The event starts at 4pm ending around 9pm.
Fans will have to fork out US$10 for ordinary tickets, US$30 VIP and US$50 VVIP.
