Mhuri’s lawyer Mr Winston Tshakalisa of Tshakalisa Legal Practitioners failed to come to court yesterday, prompting the magistrate to further postpone the judgment.
Mhuri, who is employed as a security guard and also doubles as a mortuary attendant at the health institution, is facing three counts of contravening a section of the Criminal Law Reform and Codification Act (Violating a Corpse).
The accused denied the charges and was remanded out of custody on USD$50 bail. Ms Gwinth Drawo is presiding over the matter.
