Juicer Mpositori to unveil new project

CHIKANGA-BASED urban groover, Wiriranai Maenda, popularly known as Juicer Mpositori in the music circles is working on releasing a new album, Muridzo.

The eight-track album will be his fourth in his musical career and is set to hit the streets at the end of April.

The talented singer said he was putting finishing touches on his new project and said the album was produced by Tapiwa Nyangadi of Twilight Records in Sakubva.

“I am in the final stages and I promise my fans out there that it will be an album to watch out for. I recorded it at Twilight Records and it was produced by Tapiwa Nyangadi,” he said.

The album carries tracks such as Ndoimba, title track, Muridzo, Mercy, Boka Haram and one of the tracks, Unodiwa Neni is already a hit on DiamondFM.

Juicer needs no introduction in the arts industry as he already has three albums in his name.

He started singing in 2003 and did his first album, Cease Fire in 2008. His second album was done in 2012 and is called Chikwambo.

Last year he recorded an album, Mai Tatenda.

Some of his hit songs include Unondiona Seyi, Zvinhu Zvacho, Dangerous, Zvaramba and Unodiwa Neni .

He said he was inspired by the late dendera star, Simon ‘Chopper’ Chimbetu, Leonard Zhakata and the late Fortune Mparutsa.

Meanwhile, budding dancehall singer, Yutman, whose real name is Admire Mupamhanga has released a singer, Huya Padhuze featuring Juicer Mpositori.

The single was recorded at Twilight Records and was produced by Tapiwa Nyangadi.
