“I am pleased to say that Junior was given the green light by his elders to come and perform because they understand how much this (show) meant to him,” manager Tsungi Zvobgo said.
The Coca Cola Green exploded with wild cheers when the trio of Junior Brown, Tehn Diamond and Take Fizzo took to the stage. In no time it was party and a half as the rappers criss-crossed the stage and whipped fans into a frenzy throwing down some serious punchlines and hooks. The cheers grew louder after Take Fizzo, the DJ, introduced their number one hit “Madrinks”.
Apparently, the duo effortlessly delivered the song to the crowd which sang along while holding the microphones to the sky. It was a good performance by any measure including the sound which normally disrupts their act.
The collaboration of Junior Brown and Tehn Diamond is a formidable one and they simply know how to move the crowds. The duo is currently doing well with their follow-up single titled “Realness” in which they liken themselves to Chiadzwa diamond diggers and a rare breed. According to Zvobgo, the two are readying their first solo albums.
“The two are busy in the studio recording their solo projects. Junior is working on an album called ‘Morning Glory’ and it’s nothing like what you have heard before,” she said.
