JUNTAL LOSES CAR TO FRIEND

RHUMBA singer Farai ‘Juntal’ Serima is appealing for help in finding a friend who disappeared with his CX 7 Mazda vehicle worth US$10 000.

Juntal asked his friend, Panashe Munetsi, to negotiate a swap deal for him while he was finalising a studio session on Monday.

“This guy came to my place and stayed for four days.

“I thought he was a friend but he stole my car and probably sold it somewhere around town.

“I am kindly asking anyone who sees the car or this person to report to the nearest police station.

“He took advantage of my intention to swap my car for another. I wanted to have a session in the studio on Monday and I just entrusted him to do the deal on my behalf with someone in Highfield.

“He then went there but started acting funny throughout the day. He would say he is coming in  an hour’s time, but never came.

“I then got a call from the guy I was supposed to do the swap deal telling me that Panashe never came to his place.

“I immediately checked for my car registration book, but could not find it.”
