INTERNET sensation Sam Meyiwa, father of the late Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates goalstopper, Senzo Meyiwa, now wants Kelly Khumalo’s daughter Thingo to stay with his family.Speaking to the People’s Paper – Daily Sun, Sam said he wasn’t pleased with how Kelly had dealt with Senzo’s death.

“I’m disgusted by the fact that Kelly had even refused to let Aphelele come to my son’s funeral. Although we had our own differences, she could at least have asked someone to bring my granddaughter to the funeral.

“I had changed my mind about her being allowed to attend but she chose to stay away. She could have allowed Aphelele to be here.
Aphelele had nothing to do with all the drama Kelly had caused.

“Aphelele should come and stay with us. Kelly isn’t a fit mother,” Sam said.

He added that Aphelele is part of the family although she was born out of wedlock.

“My granddaughter should know where her dad is buried and deserved to be part of the proceedings according to our culture.
Kelly has taken this drama too far and I’ll make sure she hands over our granddaughter so that we can raise her, as she is a Meyiwa, not a Khumalo,” he said.

This week a popular Zulu newspaper alleged that Senzo’s sleek BMW X6, his VW Golf 5 GTI and his Jozi north townhouse were all going to Kelly.

Reports further state that during the reading of the will there was a fight. Sam refuted these claims as nonsense.

This week, Kelly said she has said enough and is mourning Senzo in her own way. – Daily Sun
