Government will continue to support youths, who have shown great appetite to help transform the economy through various initiatives such as agriculture and development of game-changing information communication technologies.

This was said by Youth, Sport, Arts and Recreation Minister, Dr Kirsty Coventry in a statement to mark the National Youth Day, which is celebrated every year on February 21.

“Zimbabwean youth have over the years showed an insatiable thirst to make this country the great place it is; they are innovative, valiant and brilliant,” she said.

“The Ministry of Youth, Sport, Arts and Recreation is proud of our youths and will take full advantage of every opportunity to provide young people with opportunities for growth and participation in the broader national economy.”
