JUST IN: Masomere quits Mutare City Rovers

SEASONED coach Luke Masomere has left his role as head coach of ZIFA Eastern Region Division One side Mutare City Rovers.

 

In a statement this afternoon, the club confirmed Masomere’s resignation, which is with immediate effect.

Chasten Ndongonda, who was his deputy, takes over on an interim basis.

 

He will be assisted by Shepherd Muradzikwa, while Peter Masibera remains the goalkeepers trainer.

 

Gusha Bhora, as the municipal outfit is fondly referred to by its legion of followers, are fighting for promotion into the Premiership.

 

The team presently occupies fifth position with 17 points after 10 rounds of fixtures.
