JUST IN: St Faith’s pupil commits suicide

A FORM Four pupil at St Faith’s Mission High School in Rusape committed suicide at the school today.

 

Both the school head and the police confirmed the incident.

 

The reason for the suicide is yet to be ascertained as both school authorities and police are still conducting their investigations.

 

The child (name supplied) is from Rusape.

 

The school head, Mr Arnold Makamba, confirmed the sad incident.

 

”Right now I am in the process of informing the Responsible Authority about what transpired. Call back after 30 minutes,” he said.

 

Efforts to get back to Mr Makamba were fruitless as he was no longer picking up calls.

 

Police at Rusape Police Station also confirmed the incident and said: “Yes, it is true and our officers are now at the school.”
