THE Covid-19 vaccination programme is continuing in Kariba district, with port staff, including those from the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority, Immigration Department and security services at Kariba Border Post being inoculated.

At least 60 people, including medical staff at Kariba District Hospital, had received their jabs since the programme began on Sunday.

The district received 521 doses of the Sinopharm vaccine targeting an equal number of frontline staff. Kariba district medical officer Dr Godwin Muza said the programme was progressing smoothly.

Today, the programme has moved to cover staff at Kariba municipality clinics, private clinics, surgeries and pharmacies.
