JUST IN: Zim records 10 more Covid-19 deaths

ZIMBABWE has recorded 10 more Covid-19 deaths and 65 new cases in the last 24 hours with statistics showing a downward trend in the impact of the global pandemic.

The 10 deaths were recorded in Harare, Manicaland and Masvingo provinces.

Of the new cases, 25 were recorded in Harare.

The Ministry of Health and Child care says despite a total of 4 675 active cases, only 84 are hospitalised in different health institutions countrywide.

“We also recorded 168 new recoveries and the national recovery rate stands at 82.69 and active cases go down to 4 675. As of 7 February 2021, Zimbabwe has now recorded 34 552 Cases 28551 recoveries and 1326 Deaths,” said the Ministry.

So far, Bulawayo province has recorded 5 030 cases 4 448 recoveries, 388 active cases and 194 deaths.

Matabeleland South province has recorded 2 099 cases, 1 968 recoveries, 114 active cases and 17 deaths, while Matabeleland North has 1 192 cases, 667 recoveries, 512 active cases and 13 deaths.
