THE country has reported four more Covid-19 related deaths and 28 new cases in the last 24-hour cycle, bringing the total number of recorded cases to 35 796.
The seven-day rolling average for new cases fell to 89 yesterday from 95 on Saturday.
All the 28 new cases are local transmissions.

The total number of Covid-19 related deaths in Zimbabwe now stands at 1 436 while the national recovery rate stands at 89,7percent.
A total of 1 212 PCR tests were conducted yesterday and positivity was 2,3 percent.
As of February 20, 2021, at 3PM, there were 102 hospitalised people of which two patients were admitted in intensive care units (ICU) while 37 had mild to moderate symptoms. Four had severe symptoms while 59 were asymptomatic.
According to the Ministry of Health and Child Care, the highest number of 10 cases was reported in Midlands followed by Harare with 9 cases.

Manicaland recorded three new cases while Bulawayo had two cases. Mashonaland West had two new cases with Matabeleland North recording two cases as well. The remaining four provinces did not report any cases in the last 24 hours.
“As of February 21 2021, Zimbabwe, has now recorded 35 796 confirmed cases, 32 125 recoveries and 1 436 deaths,” reads the statement.
“Twenty-nine new recoveries were reported and the national recovery rate stands at 89,7 percent and active case go down to 2 235 today.”
So far, Bulawayo province has recorded 5 223 cases 4 893 recoveries, 130 active cases and 200 deaths.
