Kamhunga appointed to KFHL board

The appointment is effective August 1.
Mr Kamhunga is a respected communications and reputation management expert with local and regional experience gained at organisations including the Financial Gazette, Trust Holdings Group, Econet

Wireless Zimbabwe and its South Africa-based parent company, Econet Wireless Group.
KFHL chairperson Ms Sibusisiwe Bango said the appointment of Mr Kamhunga would increase the depth of skills in the board.

“On behalf of the KFHL board, I wish to congratulate Mr Kamhunga on his appointment.
“I am confident that his experience and counsel will add to the diversity and depth of skills of the KFHL board to ensure that it continues to provide the necessary strategic guidance and oversight to the group and its businesses,” she said.

Ms Bango added that the relevant regulatory authorities have approved the appointment of Mr Kamhunga, who is based in South Africa.
Kingdom Financial Holdings Limited is an investment holding company listed on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange with interests concentrated in the financial services sector.

The group offers a diversified range of financial services through commercial banking, stockbroking, asset management and micro-lending. In the region, KFHL has operations in Botswana and Malawi.
