South African dancer and singer Kamo Mphela is set to be one of the star attractions at this year’s national Castle Lager Braai Festival, taking place on Saturday at Old Hararians Sports Club in Harare.
Coinciding with the global celebration of Oktoberfest, the local festival promises an outdoor summer party filled with music, food, and beer.

Kamo Mphela will share the stage with top Zimbabwean entertainer Winky D, a regular at the annual event. Joining them will be Master H and Saintfloew, who recently launched his new album at Alex Sports Club in Milton Park.
“Castle Braai Fest, let’s link up – pachapisa. I am ready!” said Saintfloew, excited for the event.
Master H also shared his enthusiasm: “You know di ting already, the Castle Braai Festival is happening on October 19 at Old Hararians. I will be sharing the stage with Kamo Mphela, Saintfloew, and Winky D. It will be hot!”

The festival’s line-up also features top emcee Etherton B and DJs L Roy, Irvine, and Toxy Gen, who will keep the crowd entertained throughout the day.
Organisers have planned a range of activities and are expecting a large turnout.
“It’s all systems go for this year’s edition of the Castle Lager Braai Fest at Old Hararians. We are inviting all our consumers from across the country to join us,” said Delta Lagers marketing manager, Kundai Mawema.
“It’s all about braaing, listening to good music, and enjoying the best beer.”
