Sugar was the runner-up after he battled to the final round but it was Kandiero who was judged the best bodybuilder.
Champion Champion of Botswana came third.
Mr Novice winner Eddie Marondera showed that dynamite can come in small packages when he finished a credible fourth.
Marondera said he happy with his performance.
In the women’s category Christine Matange easily won the Ms Iron Man title.
Matange walked away with residential stand for her efforts.
Mashonaland Bodybuilding and Fitness Association chairman and event co-ordinator, Tofara Moyo, was happy with the level of the competition.
“The turnout was very pleasing and this gives us confidence in the sport.
“We are looking forward to a better competition next year and we believe our sponsors will keep on the good work.
“We also congratulate all those who won and expect those who did not make it to keep on working hard,” Moyo said.
