The body of national hero Cde Kumbirai Kangai will tomorrow be flown to his rural home in Buhera to enable relatives to bid farewell to the veteran nationalist. The body will later be flown to the Manicaland provincial capital Mutare before it is taken back to Harare ahead of burial on Saturday.
Family spokesperson Mr Reward Kangai said Cde Kangai’s body is expected in Buhera between 9 am and 10am before it is taken to Mutare’s Queen’s Hall for viewing.
A former Cabinet minister, Cde Kangai collapsed at his Harare home on Saturday morning and was rushed to hospital where he later died at the age of 75.
Cde Kangai is survived by his wife Miriam, 12 children and several grand children.
