Kanyangarara impressed by rugby play

National Rugby League president Nody Kanyangarara says the quality of the game has improved compared to the previous years.
Kanyangarara says the level of competition has made it hard to predict the winners as the NRL spills into the final week of the first round matches.Harare Sports Club are top of the League with 31 points and are followed by Old Georgians who have 26 while the defending champions are in third place on 24 points.

Sports Club and Zvishavane have played seven matches while the rest of the teams have played six.

Kanyangarara believes all the top teams have good chances of winning the title this year.

“It is very difficult to tell who will win because the teams are playing good rugby. All the top teams have a lot of potential but Sports Club currently are the ones on top as they have been consistent.

“But any other team may also have the chance to go on top of the log because they still have a couple of fixtures to play. The standard of rugby has improved greatly. Most teams take the off-season as the privilege to put in more effort in their work, which is good.
