Kazembe hails national hero Mushore

Zanu PF Mashonaland Central Chairman and Minister of Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage, Cde Kazembe Kazembe, has described national hero Cde Luke Mushore as a pillar of the party and community.

A former MP for Muzarabani South in Mashonaland Central province, Cde Mushore, 76, was declared a national hero following his death on June 13.

He will be buried at the National Heroes Acre on Monday.

“Cde Mushore, known affectionately as Cde Dick Joboringo, will be buried Monday at the National Heroes Acre in Harare,” he said. “President Mnangagwa will preside.

“The family sought a Monday service, and the President approved. Plans are now finalised. We mourn the loss of a crucial pillar in our party and community. His steadfast commitment to developing our province and Zimbabwe will never be forgotten.”
