Sifelani, who was popularly known on radio as “The Soul Supreme”, was fired up on the decks, taking fans down memory lane and was super stoked throwing down some old school classics including his signature tune “Let the Beat Hit Em”.

“The Soul Supreme” relished every minute of his slot and he didn’t disappoint and when the crowd was in high spirits, the Zimbabwe Soul Movement CEO, as he used to call himself during his days on Radio 3 (now Power FM), slowed things down with some mellow grooves.

Even the rains, which had pounded the capital Harare on Friday night, did not deter fans from thronging the place which had a big tent pitched outside.

It was hit after hit as Huggies Entertainment, the combination of Kudzi “Mr Kool” Marudza, Witness “Chuman” Matema and Ronald “D-Train” Chiwanza took turns to rock the crowd in an amazing fashion.
Mr Kool left music lovers in merry mood before Chuman took over the jam session without any glitches.

Like the legendary Mr Kool, Chuman did not lose the tempo for once but instead maintained the groove, playing the captivating R&B and soul music.

If you are a fan of old skool music, you just had to be there to relive the years gone by.
And in a flash, D-Train wound up the old skool session with a mixed bag of songs, playing the hits from the 1990s to the early 2000s.

The gig is a build-up to what old skool pundits can expect on December 31, for the Old Skool Reunion party at Belgravia Sports Club sponsored by Goldtech Electronics and Afdis among others.
