KENYAN ARTIST WITH A SHONA TOUCH

KENYAN artist, Carlos Kom4t, has captured the hearts of Zimbabweans with his Shona lyrics.

Carlos Kom4t recently released a Shona song titled ‘Mazirudo (Lot’s of Love)’.

The artist, who is based in South Africa, plays Zimbabwean music at his gigs.

In 2022, Carlos Kom4t released Nzambe WaMoyo as he said he had fallen in love with Zimbabweans who supported his music.

“Music is what I like to do and from a tender age I was in love with music. At a later stage everyone around my circle started pushing me to do more and take music as a career.

“I have been a DJ in South Africa and play Zimbabwean music at my gigs,” he said.

His management said Carlos Kom4t started singing in church at a young age in Mombasa, Kenya.

“He professionally started music in the early 2000 as a DJ and rapper performing in clubs. As time went by Carlos moved to South Africa to pursue his career in music.

“When he moved to South Africa he worked at Club 2010 in Durban for three years.”
