Kereke launches mobile clinic in Bikita

Dr Kereke unveiled the Mobile Clinic Programme and handed over 30 tonnes of maize at a function held at Nyika Growth Point on Friday last week.
Through his companies, Rock Foundation Medical Centre and Green Card Medical Aid, Dr Kereke will provide ambulances and free medical care in Bikita.
Guest of Honour, Defence Minister Emmerson Mnangagwa handed over the donations to traditional leaders in the district.
Minister Mnangagwa highlighted the importance and benefits of the land reform programme through which Dr Kereke was part of in his home area.
“Today we celebrate the good gesture that Pamene Farm, a product of the land reform programme, has done by setting aside 30 tonnes for donation to the people of Bikita.
“Such a selfless spirit must serve as a good example to all the other farmers who benefited under Government’s Land Reform Programme.
Dr Kereke declared his commitment to the betterment of the health situation in his home area.
“Access to high quality health services stands as another pivotal requirement for socio-economic development.
“We are launching the Bikita Mobile Clinic under which residents of Bikita South, East and West will have access to state of the art medical services at the heart of their villages,” he said.
Dr Kareke pledged to provide the area with doctors for improved health delivery, promising to bring funeral services through another of his companies, Doves.
“Qualified doctors and other medical health practitioners will rove across all the wards under guidance from District and Provincial Medical Directorate.
“We are also going to avail funeral services to the bereaved families in case of death, through Doves,” he said.
