KHAMI Queens recorded their first victory of the Rainbow Amateur Netball League (Ranl) 2020 season in fixtures played at Khami over the weekend.
Queens held a narrow lead over Flow Angels on Saturday winning 46-40.
On Sunday they took on Mutare City leading them with 10 points.
Khami Queens coach Irvin Zimbizi said he was impressed by his team’s performance and that they were slowly gaining confidence.
“It feels so good to come out victorious in the games that we played and the Angels’ win greatly helped us to unlock our confidence as witnessed in our second game that we played against Mutare City,” said Zimbizi.
Khami Queens last featured in the competition in 2017 and this year they were promoted to play back in the league after coming first in the Ranl lower division league.
Khami is on position eight on the log with four points.
They have played three games recording two wins and one loss.
