He made the remarks while launching a youth mass mobilisation exercise involving 58 youth organisations affiliated to Zanu-PF at the party headquarters in Harare yesterday.
“We want you to benefit from the empowerment programmes that we have embarked on.
“When we say land reform it is meant for you to benefit and not for the big fish. It is not correct for one man to have 10 farms,” he said.
“We cannot allow that to continue. It is criminal. We are saying it should be one man, one farm. When we talk of indigenisation we want you to benefit, if not then we ask why? We can’t confine indigenisation to a few people. You can’t get thinner and thinner while others are getting fatter and fatter.”
Cde Khaya Moyo called on the youths to embark on a massive voter registration exercise of party members to ensure a sweeping victory for the revolutionary party at the harmonised elections.
“Youths you should lead us in this final showdown and please we don’t want violence of any kind. Mobilise people in peaceful measures,” said Cde Khaya Moyo.
He said at the moment everyone was expected to campaign for President Mugabe only as primary elections were yet to be conducted.
Cde Khaya Moyo reiterated that the party would not condone the imposition of candidates adding that those who would have lost at the primary elections must support the winning candidates.
Zanu-PF Secretary for Youth Affairs Cde Absolom Sikhosana urged the youths to be vigilant against provocation by activists from MDC formations who wanted to discredit the elections.
“They will be doing everything to discredit our elections because they know they will lose. They will set traps for you especially on violence. You should be careful and work with the police. Report any violence to the police,” said Cde Sikhosana.
