Khayah Cement delists from Zimbabwe Stock Exchange

Business Reporter

THE Zimbabwe Stock Exchange Limited (ZSE) has announced the voluntary termination of listing for Khayah Cement Limited, effective from May 22, 2025.

This decision follows Khayah Cement’s board of directors’ voluntarily placing the company under corporate rescue.

Subsequently, on 19 May 2025, Khayah shareholders passed a resolution for the voluntary termination of its ZSE listing, in accordance with Section 11 of the ZSE Listing Requirements.

As mandated by Section 64 (1) (a)(i) of the Securities and Exchange Act [Cap24.25], the ZSE sought and received permission from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe (SECZ) to delist Khayah from its official list.

Holders of Khayah’s securities are advised, in terms of Section 15 (d) of the ZSE Listing Requirements, that the securities can no longer be traded on the ZSE from 22 May 2025.
