Khune happy to be back

BAFANA BAFANA goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune made his return to the famous black and gold of Kaizer Chiefs over the weekend as they battled to a 0-0 draw against Chippa United.“It’s a pleasure to don the gold and black of Chiefs,” said Khune in an interview published on the club’s official website. “It’s always a great feeling for any player to be back on the field.”

“Running through the tunnel and to smell the pitch grass is like opening your office door,” said Khune.

“We spend most of our time on the pitch, it’s like an office for us. The welcome from the stands was warm hence I felt comfortable during the match. We always want to reward the supporters.” — SuperSport
