Dancehall star Killer T and Blot are set to headline a gig in Victoria Falls next weekend at Encore Budget Hotel.
The gig will be part of birthday celebrations for Paul Shambare, director of Express Entertainment that is based in the tourist town. Shambare who turns 37 said when they launched their company four years ago Killer T was one of the musicians who came for the event.
“I decided to have him as one performers because he was one of the musicians who came from Harare to come and participate here when we launched our company,” he said.
Shambare has also spearheaded several entertainment programmes in Victoria Falls as well as founding Express Fashions. Elder Shambare a promoter and businessman based in Victoria Falls, has worked closely with several artistes from all corners of the country.
He was responsible for organizing the highly successful birthday bash for Kinnah aka Mr Mbare held in Stodart Mbare Netball complex in April this year.
Navy Boi aka Gazza President, Twins Kyron and Turnover, Jah Mercy,Rasta Japan are among other artists are set to perform at the event. Killer T through his manager Supa said they were happy to perform at the bash of a professional promoter who has worked well with musicians.
“I have never heard a report of musicians duped in Victoria Falls by Shambare because he is professional. We are happy to be part of the celebrations,” he said.
