Paul Pindani in KAROI
KILLER T’S show at Spring Resort Waterfront in Karoi on Saturday night was probably the best and biggest musical event in this town in recent years.
Unlike other shows, this one had a number of white fans in attendance.
Some fans even said they drove from Zambia to be part of the fun.
The Zimdancehall star rose to the challenge and thrilled hundreds of fans with his infectious music and superb stage performance.
The stage had been warmed by Ndunge Yut and Transit Crew took the game to a new level with a performance which was warmly received by the fans.
When Killer T got onto the stage, the crowd was already in the mood and he didn’t disappoint with a performance which suited the occasion.
Michael Mkandawire, who drove from Lusaka with his friends, told H-Metro:
“I really enjoyed the show. It was such an amazing one. The young man is truly blessed musically.”
Lovemore Chifamba, from Kariba, hailed the show organisers for bringing such an A-Lister to Karoi.
“I want to thank Bhuru Entertainment for bringing Killer T here in Karoi. He is a gifted and talented artist. I enjoyed the show.”
Temba Mliswa, the boss at Bhuru Entertainment, said:
“I intend to go to Shurugwi and Silobela and do the same thing, especially in underprivileged areas and so forth.
“One of the critical issues is to empower people.
“Music itself does empower people in many ways. It enables people to unite.
“For me, this show is definitely one of those cases wHere I expect young people to be motivated and be inspired.
“Killer T is a role model and you have to bring him so that he can deal with drug and substance abuse.”
