KILLER T is so obsessed with making hits that sometimes he sleeps in the studio to make sure everything goes according to script.
His latest single, Kana Ndanyura, has taken the country by storm and, so far, looks like it will be the sound of this winter.
So popular is the track that it has garnered over 1.8 million views on YouTube in three weeks.
Yesterday, his camp hailed Killer T as a perfectionist.
Top celebrities, influencers, and TikTok users have also embraced Killer T’s #Kana Ndanyura Challenge.
His manager, Kudzai “Supa” Biston, told H-Metro that Killer T is dedicated to his craft.
“I have worked with him since 2013 and up to now I can testify that the guy is a workaholic when it comes to music,” he said.
“He treats every song as a hit whenever he visits the studio.
“Sometimes, he sleeps late or spends the entire night recording and polishing his music.
“There is no other secret for Killer T besides his hard work and commitment to his work.”
Supa said they were not surprised when their latest song, Kana Ndanyura, became a hit.
“During the listening session, we all left the studio convinced that ‘The Chairman’ had nailed it.
“The number of views it has reached has also shocked us as fans have all embraced him.
“This is the only secret behind the big reception of the track by our fans out there.”
He, however, conceded that Kana Ndanyura’s appeal has surpassed their previous productions.
“To be honest with you, the reception of this song has made us proud.
“We have had other popular songs before but Kana Ndanyura’s demand is out of this world.”
Following the success of the latest single, Supa said Killer T would not rest on his laurels.
“At our camp, we work as a team and I always push him to go the extra mile.
“I want to build from this newly-found fame and continue giving fans good music.
“Our duty is singing for our loyal fans.”
