Killer T slams NAMAs

Zimdancehall star, Killer T, has slammed the National Arts Merit Awards as cheap and useless.

The chanter, who has since distanced himself from local awards, shared his views on his Facebook timeline.

“NAMA is not good.

“How can artists be performing Sauro’s music at the NAMAs yet they never recognised him when he was still alive,” he said.

His fans backed him for sharing his sentiments while others felt Killer T was a bitter man.

This year’s awards will be held at the Harare International Conference Centre on February 25.

They will be held under the theme “Unlocking the dreams” and an array of artists like Mai TT, Poptain and Herman are set to perform.
