Kim resists maternity wear

In the face of critics who have conceded that the star has piled on the pounds throughout her pregnancy, Kim went to great pains to show that she can still pull off her usual racy attire.

But she also revealed that she is still using her secret style weapon of Spanx when she stepped out in a very tight leather shift dress.
Lifting up her feet high as she strutted across the road, Kim’s girdle could be seen peeking from under her outfit. The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star had squeezed into the skin-tight mustard-coloured shift dress, which displayed her every pregnancy curve.

She paired the racy look with more leather in the form of a black motorcycle jacket and very high gladiator-style heels. Kim headed to famed New York eatery Cipriani for lunch with one of her publicists before heading off to indulge in a shopping spree.

She visited Curve boutique were she perused the aisles, picking up a white shirt along the way and trying on several different hats.
Just hours earlier she had appeared on “Live With Kelly and Michael”, where she wore a voluminous Lanvin pink frock, which was tight around her bust and middle to expose her growing baby bump.

Kim’s dress was made of thick material which was cinched in at the waist with a matching belt.
During her an interview with the show’s host Michael Strahan and guest host Kristen Chenoweth, she revealed that she has so far gained 10kg during her pregnancy. She used her sister Kourtney as a comparison, stating that her elder sibling had gained more weight in her pregnancy with Penelope at the same mark.

“I’ve gained 10kg,” said the star, who is almost five months pregnant. At this stage Kourtney had gained 30,” she added.
“I will probably will gain those 30kg, just give me a couple more months.”

She added that so far she has not succumbed to junk food cravings and has rather been indulging in healthy treats.
“I want to have those cravings, like cheeseburgers, but I haven’t. Now I eat healthy I don’t know what’s going on,” she said.

“I couldn’t survive without Kourtney. She has given me the best tips about strollers and everything,” she gushed. Earlier in the morning, Kim confidently stepped out of her New York hotel in a pale pink miniskirt paired with a matching blouse featuring lace trim at the bust and billowing sleeves.

Doing away with the flats she had bragged about the day before, she slipped back into her sky high Christian Louboutins, this time in a matching nude strappy variety. But the stilettos were clearly hurting her feet — a cushioning innersole was visible as she tottered along in the spikey heels.

Later this evening Kim will make yet another television appearance on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno during her whistle-stop tour to promote Tyler Perry’s Temptation.
In an interview with E! this week, Kim said she is enjoying the fact her bump is now showing. — TMZ.
