AWARD-WINNING rapper, King 98, believes in synergies with other top artists on the African continent.
After recording high-profile collaborations with superstars like Davido, Diamond Platnumz and top South African rapper Nasty C, King 98 continues to dine with the elite.
On Saturday, he welcomes home another South African star, for the much-hyped “Unplugged” show slated for Greendale Sports Club.
Besides Costa Titch, he is set to share the stage with the likes of Holy Ten, Leo Magozz, DJ Rimo, DJ DT Kay Beatz at the same event.
Impala Car Rental, Coca Cola and Seal Sahwira Events are behind the event.
Speaking through his manager ahead of the event, DJ Simmz said it was all systems go.
“Preparations are on point and everything is in order,” he said.
DJ Simmz said King 98 and Costa T were good friends with a similar vision.
“Costa Titch once came for a club gig and since from that day, we have been in touch he always wanted an outs gig
“The venue is very convenient hence our partners Unplugged have their certain clientele,” he said.
DJ Simmz hailed King 98 for forging alliances with some of the top South African artists.
“Their relationship is very good. As I said, before Costa Titch came for club appearance so basically costa he is our brother
“On this occasion, which many are eagerly waiting for, we are giving Zimbabwe a bit of a different taste of music and the whole vibe, especially with how we set-up our venue it’s always lit,” he added.
Besides Costa Titch, King 98 has hosted top continental music generations of his own generation.
The last to come and spend some days here, before the death of King 98’s father Thompson Dondo, was Nasty C.
