AWARD-WINNING rapper, King 98, on Saturday gave fans a sample of his new song titled Chururuka when he performed alongside South African singer, rapper, dancer and songwriter, Lady Du, at Alex Sports Club.
In an interview, Lady Du said King 98 was determined and talented.
She also narrated how much she enjoyed working with him.
“King 98 flew to me and told me he wanted a feature.
“I thought it was good to be the usual random WhatsApp messages and we were done. King 98 rented a car for me just to make me feel comfortable.
“Zimbabweans you are so blessed to have such artists around you,” she said.
King 98 also explained the meaning of the song.
“Chururuka is a Shona word that refers to dripping. I am honoured to be representing my country at an intrenational level,” he said
King 98 has also collaborated with Davido, Diamond Platnumz, Rayvanny, Nasty C and Zlatan, among others.
Following in his late father’s footsteps as a philanthropist, King 98 has been doing some charity work, bailing out the needy.
