KING SHADDY RETURNS. . . not with the mic but on a football field

Bruce Chikuni
ZIM Musicians FC skipper, King Shaddy, is hoping to make a return from a toe injury when they face Copacabana FC, in a social football game on Sunday.

King Shady did not play any part in their 2-2 stalemate against Belvedere Teachers College over the weekend.

The social football club was formed four years ago, with the aim of helping to promote peace among performing artists.

“I’m happy with my recovery progress.

“And, I’m very optimistic that by Sunday, I will be fit enough to help my team return to winning ways,” said King Shaddy.

“The team is growing at a tremendous rate.

“We have many upcoming artists joining the club.”

The team has big name artists like Shinsoman, Guspy Warrior, Freeman, Nutty O, Ziky, Ex Q, Peter Moyo, Ninja Lipsy, Lady B, Cello Culture, Bamalla, Tee Man (MoutZion), the Chillspot Family and Merciless Zim, among others.
