Kings capture beast

THE King PC and Dropmark Pool Club were crowned the 2020 season-opening Beast Tournament champions at Raylton Sports Club on Sunday. 

The tournament had 48 clubs which comprised teams from the provincial and the district leagues.

In the district side, there were 32 teams which were drawn into eight groups of four each with the winner from each group relishing a chance to wrestle for the beast in the finals, while in the provincial side there were 16 teams which were drawn into four groups of four teams.

Kings Pool Club beat Southwold OG for the title in the provincial side which saw them walking away with the ‘Beast’ while Dropmark also emerged victorious in the district side after thrashing West Comm.

Southwold OG and West Comm who were the runners-up in the tourney from both sides got two goats each.
