Eng Kodzwa would be buried today at Glen Forest Cemetery. He is survived by wife Gloria and three children. Addressing mourners at his Mt Pleasant home yesterday,
Zanu-PF national chairman Cde Simon Khaya Moyo said the party found it befitting to honour Eng Kodzwa with hero status.
He described him as a loyal, hardworking and dedicated man who served the nation with illustrious distinction. “As a party, we consulted and we thought it befitting that a great man like Paul Kodzwa cannot just be buried without being honoured,” said Cde Khaya Moyo.
“In consultation with President Mugabe, we found it necessary to declare him a liberation war hero.”
Cde Khaya-Moyo expressed his condolences to the Kodzwa family.
