War vets besiege DA’s offices

with the war veterans a week before, but allegedly failed to attend the meet­ing due to ill-health.
They ordered the assistant district administrator Ms Elisa Chauke out of the offices before locking them.
Calm was restored after Ms Chauke and the war veterans struck a compro­mise deal.
