Zimbabwe international striker Kudakwashe Mahachi has joined Golden Arrows on a permanent deal, following uncertainty over his future with Mamelodi Sundowns.

The 22-year-old forward has been training with Abafana Bes’thende while awaiting official word on his future at Chloorkop, after spending last season “on loan” at the Durban-based club.

A source has revealed that Mahachi has officially signed on the dotted line, with an announcement from the club imminent.

“Mahachi is now Arrows player after he officially signed, with the duration of his contract to be revealed soon,” said the source.

Arrows coach Clinton Larsen also confirmed the former Chicken Inn winger’s presence at training, and is expecting official word from the club later today.

“Yes, I believe so [Mahachi has signed] but the office will probably confirm to me later today, but yes he has been training with the club,” added Larsen.

Mahachi left Sundowns and joined Arrows in October last year, after being issued his international clearance, and managed three goals and four assists in 19 appearances. – kickoff.com
